Wendy Lopez
Executive Chef - Partner
Born in Michoacán, Mexico, Wendy Lopez came to Florida in 1998. She studied at Le Cordon Bleu before diving into the Orlando culinary scene. In 2018 Lopez accepted the position of Executive Chef at Reyes Mezcaleria where she is able to return to her Mexican culinary roots. Lopez is a continued advocate of the Orlando culinary community by supporting externship and mentorship programs with aspiring chefs. Wendy has made multiple appearances on The Food Network and has been recognized as Best Chef and Critic's Choice in Orlando Magazine and Orlando Sentinel.
Danny Delaney
Assistant General Manager
Danny is a Florida native and has been in the food and beverage industry for over two decades. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management from UCF’s Rosen College and has experience in both front and back of house operations. Joining Reyes in 2021, Danny brings his vast knowledge to leading the team. In his off time, Danny enjoys rollerblading and spending time with his wife and three year old daughter.

Nicole Peters
A seasoned hospitality professional with 20 years of experience, Nicole has been the driving force behind Reyes Mezcaleria since 2018. Her charisma and grace light up the dining room, creating an atmosphere of warmth and exceptional service. Under her leadership, Reyes has earned accolades from Orlando Magazine, including Reader's Choice and Critic's Choice Best Restaurant in 2020. As the mastermind behind the Events program at Reyes, Nicole has successfully positioned the restaurant as a premier boutique dining destination for weddings and special events.

Florida native, Will graduated from Le Cordon Bleu and began his culinary career at Nickelodeon Studios Suites then made a name for himself in the Central Florida private country club scene, honing his skills in the kitchen. He likes to play volleyball and spend time with his two children. Will enjoys new smoking techniques and hopes to start a podcast soon.
Denise Newberry
Pastry Chef
Originally from Staten Island, NY, Denise came to Orlando for culinary school in 2016. Her background in French style pastry, large scale production, and specialty cuisines made her a natural fit to lead the Reyes pastry program. She joined Reyes Mezcaleria in 2019, and has wowed guests with her decadent flavors ever since, with her desserts featured in monthly En la Mesa dinners, as well as the Taste America James Beard dinner at Reyes.
